You know, I really like that your 15,000 year old vampire doesn’t look like your standard WASPy American- since people 15,000 years ago wouldn’t.
Are you going to put your writing up, too? I’d be interested in reading about the vampire. I’ve often wondered what it would be like to live a really long time. How would that warp a person? Would it make you wise or just really cranky and bored? Can the human mind, even changed by vampirism, withstand that long a life?
Yes, it’s sad that seeing prehistoric humans as non-white is so revolutionary. Ereshkigal is pre-Sumerian (though I still have some research to do to make sure the Fertile Crescent area was habitable at that time).
If you’re interested in reading a bit about her, you can read a passage on my writings blog here: http://sitakali.blogspot.com/2007/09/voice-of-ages.html
I acknowledge that it’s a bit preachy, and it’s a long way from finished, but this is the essence of her character.

Anyway, I’d be interested.

interesting material, where such topics do you find? I will often go
Some of the ideas came from novels I’m writing and my spirituality. Others come from concepts I think of.
